The crowd carried banners and voiced messages of gratitude, praising Makinde’s focus on development, transparency, and efforts to bring positive change to Oyo State. The supporters also had a clear message for certain political opponents, warning “Bourdillon saboteurs” to keep their alleged political schemes away from Makinde and the people of Oyo State. This rally comes on the heels of a recent legal challenge at the election tribunal, adding more intensity to the citizens’ demonstration.
